Changes to the NewsBank America’s Newspapers database interface

NewsBank,inc introduces changes to their America’s Newspapers and Access World News interface in order to improve the search results and navigation through million of articles. The preview of enhanced NewsBank America’s Newspaper’s database interface can be found on http://www.newsbank.com/bettersearch. These changes will become effective on January 7, 2008.

ANGEL disruptions

This week, ANGEL service is experiencing disruptions due to high usage. ITS highly recommends avoiding the 1:00 - 6:00 pm period.

Lab Consulting Hours for Finals Extended Hours

Starting today, Dec 13, and continuing until Thursday, Dec 20 the consulting hours in both labs (Gateway and the Reserve Reading Room) in Pattee Library are extended. Weekdays they will remain open until 2 am and on Fri/Sat until Midnight.
